We are quickly counting down now. Whew! Here are my pics from week 31. I realize I am a little late getting them up seeing how I will be 32 weeks tomorrow. I am putting up two again because I am indecisive about hand placement. Also, this is the same spot in the house. I just hung some stuff on the wall in the middle of my nesting. Baby shower is in 3 weeks!!!!!!! I am so excited. I went by Terra Tots and finalized my registry for all of our cloth diaper and natural mom and baby stuff. I love their products.

On a different note, the arborist came by and fixed our trees yesterday. We get a fresh start in the front with landscaping now because they completely took out the tree in the front. There isn't anything between our house and the road now. It looks very bare, but I prefer to think of it as a blank canvas.

I had my dr.apointment today, and things are right on track. I was retainging a little fluid so I have to concentrate extra hard on drinking more water so I don't blow up like a balloon. I am glad spring is getting here, but the warmer weather is making my hands and feet a little biggger. Thankfully, only 8 more weeks to go! We have narrowed our list of names to three:

Ewan James Denison
Liam James Denison
Whitmer James Denison

I know we are not going to decide until we meet him. I like all three of these. They seem to suit our family, our style, our heritage. We shall see who he turns out to be. I am constantly checking out names everywhere. If anyone has a good idea feel free to shoot it our way.

29 weeks and I have the flu! Yuck! I am on the back end of it now, thankfully...It actually did feel like I got ran over by a truck. You hear people say that, and it is true. Little Denison is doing good. He is his normal wiggle pants self. The doctor said I will be back to normal next week. I am hoping for sooner!

28 weeks and counting. I don't have belly pics, but I do have pics from the crazy ice storm to ravish our lives last week. I also have good news that I don't have gestational diabetes or low iron levels. I got tested for those last week at my appointment. We went to a birthing class by the hospital last night. They took us on a tour of labor and delivery, and we watched some videos about birth. I am really excited to start my 5 week birth classes with Maria the midwife. Every meeting will be a potluck! So back to the ice storm...we were without power from Tuesday-Saturday. Thankfully, the insurance company put us up in a hotel. Otherwise, we would have frozen our tooshies off. We are definitely going forward with our plans to install a wood stove.

I realize it is hard to tell, but these are the game pieces from CLUE. We played it the first night of the ice storm. I put all of the weapons on the people. Can you see the size of the knife Ms. Scarlett is toting around?
This is what was happening all over our property. Can you see how that branch used to be on the tree? Our oak tree was obliterated.
This shows how the trees pulled our power line off of our house. That was a metal pole attached with bolts. The ice was mighty.
This was our back fence, but a tree decided to lay down on it. Ty spent Saturday chain sawing this guy and putting the fence back together. I am so proud of him.
Ok, so we don't have bushes in front of our house. That is part of our oak tree that fell on my car. Oh the carnanage. Thankfully, that is all it did. This could have been sooo much worse.

Starting the Year off Right

I am 23 weeks and growing. Things are going well. We had a great trip to Texas. I am glad to be home. I have turned into quite a home body lately. We have had a nice and relaxing time this week. Here are a few pictures from yesterday. It was a great way to kick off the new year.

We are awaiting the start of "Bolt" in 3D. Obviously Ty is very excited!

This is later that night at a bday/new years 70's themed party. Don't these guys look handsome.

So...I have figured out that I am not really a blog person. This does not mean that I won't update and write, but merely means that I am not as into this as I initially thought I would be. That being said, I do have news. We are going to have a little baby BOY!

We went to the doctor for my 20 week visit Thursday. Everything is looking good and he and I are growing right on track. He was moving a jumping all around. I think that he does this often because I feel him moving more and more throughout the day. We had them record the session onto a DVD which we will be bringing with us on our Christmas Trek to Texas.

I give my last final exam on the 17th. I am definately ready for this semester to be over, but this is the general feeling I have about this time of year.

My trip to London was great. London is nice, but the people I got to meet from all over the world were so much better. I am so glad Ty and I are involved in such an amazing move of God.
